What is Gingivitis?
Gingivitis. The dreaded word no one wants to hear pertaining to their mouth. Most toothpaste commercials mention it and say they can help prevent it. Any toothpaste can help prevent gingivitis if you actually brush your teeth with it. Gingivitis is the inflammation of the gums. This includes puffiness, bleeding, swelling, and redness. What Causes Gingivitis?

It’s mostly about technique and making sure you are removing the plaque effectively on a regular basis. Some other things you can add to your routine are an electric toothbrush and an antibacterial mouthwash. These can help remove plaque more effectively and reduce inflammation.
