At-Home Dental Care

Start early.

Many children’s first experience with the dentist comes after they have developed their first cavity. It is important to establish positive dental care routines early on.

Proper and daily brushing and flossing is vital.

Use the right toothpaste and replace your toothbrush every six months. Observe correct brushing and flossing techniques to ensure food particles that are left behind have been removed.

Food matters.

Eat nutritious foods that are packed with calcium and other nutrients that keep teeth and gums strong. Avoid sugary treats and beverages that can lead to tooth discoloration such as soda and red wine.
