How much does Invisalign® cost?
Our office’s set cost for most Invisalign® cases is $4,000. This includes all trays, a refinement, retainers and a free professional teeth whitening treatment. However, the cost can vary slightly depending on:
- Insurance coverage—Most insurance plans cover Invisalign® the same way they cover metal braces. It is rare that insurance will cover Invisalign® for purely cosmetic reasons, but each case is different.
- Length/complexity of treatment—With Invisalign®, you get new clear aligners every couple of weeks, so the cost may vary if your treatment requires more (or fewer) aligners.

The Invisalign® Process
To begin, we will take photographs of your teeth and face, scans of your teeth and X-rays. Those records are sent to Invisalign® with detailed instructions on how we want the final result to appear. Invisalign® will scan the impressions to create a 3D model of the teeth and work with your dentist to get the mold to its exact proportions. Once final, the trays are made and mailed to our office. You will then have another appointment approximately one month after your first where we will place any attachments and deliver your trays. We will have short follow-up appointments to make sure your smile transformation is on target and to address any concerns you may have.

What do I need to do for Invisalign® home care?
You should be wearing your trays for 21-22 hours per day, only removing them for eating, drinking and cleaning. You should always keep your trays in their container when they are not being worn to prevent them from getting damaged. It is important that you clean your trays as well to help protect your teeth from cavities. Invisalign® offers a number of products to help you keep your aligners clean.

How long does Invisalign® take to straighten teeth?
With Invisalign® aligners, you'll switch to a new set approximately every two weeks, gradually shifting your teeth toward the final result. Most treatments take 3 to 10 months, though some may last up to 2 years. We’ll schedule check-in appointments every 6 to 8 weeks to monitor your progress. Each Invisalign® package also includes teeth whitening and retainers.
